Anoka-Ramsey Community College’s new Women’s Fastpitch Softball team at the Cambridge Campus is hosting a kick-off event, Tuesday, March 9, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., in the Armed Forces/Community Center.

Regional media, high school coaches and athletic directors are being invited the community to watch the team practice, talk to the players and interview the team’s coach.

The first game is Saturday, March 6 in Rochester. Weather permitting; the team is scheduled for 47 games in the first season.

Home games for the Anoka-Ramsey team will be held at Sandquist Family Park in Cambridge, located east of town, past the fairgrounds. Next year, the team will practice and play home games at the new field currently being planned and constructed at the Cambridge Campus.

The spring 2010 administration of the Student Opinion Survey at ARCC is coming soon.  The Student Opinion Survey explores enrolled students’ satisfaction with programs, services and other aspects of their college experience. Data collected through the survey assists the college in identifying areas for improvement and in understanding the impact of changes made to our offerings.

High levels of student participation are vital for ensuring that the survey is a success.  Look for your chance to complete the survey in randomly selected classrooms during February and March.
